Booking Through Thursday - Mystery or Love Story?

Booking Through Thursday asks this week:

All things being equal, which would you prefer–a mystery? Or a love story?

A love story.  Simply for the fact that I read more of them than I do mystery, even though I have read a number of mystery/crime novels over the years.  I guess I just like to have a feel-good story, especially when things feel like they are crowding in on me.

Looking forward to your comments :)

I like a combination but with the emphasis on mystery, not violence.

Great answer. I really enjoy a good love story at times, but also get a happy buzz from cozy mysteries.

My BTT post is here if you'd like a look :)

I like a cozy mystery. Nothing with the blood, guts and beer though.

I enjoy "feel good" books, too; sometimes you can find that element in mysteries. I tend to read a lot of those.

Thanks for sharing.

Such a good question - I can't read one type of book all the time - so I would say both for me - but slight edge to mysteries.
