Blog Hop

Friday Follows asks this week: Give us five book related silly facts about you.

1.  Most of the books that I have bought, I haven't read and are still in purchased condition.
2.  My TBR is really insane and I don't know what the count is.
3.  I have probably spent thousands of dollars on library fines
4.  I am able to read a number of books at one time, as I can separate the storylines and can follow them all quite easily.
5.  I typically borrow more books than I know I can read.

Book Blogger Hop

Crazy for Books asks this week: If you could physically put yourself into a book or a series, which one would it be and why?

The series that I would put myself into would be the Harry Potter series.  I know it probably sounds cheeky and typical, but I liked how even if one was slightly different, one was accepted for who they where.  It is also a world that seems so different from the one that we live in and if I wanted to escape the realities of the magical world, one could always go into the Muggle one, even if it were just for a moment.

I read that series totally differently. I thought it had all of the problems of muggle life with the added complications of magic. It was a close second for me tho! :)

It's so cool to see another BC girl on here!! Most definitely following your blog :)

I also chose the Potter series. I love your comment about how being in this series also means you can go back to the muggle world periodically - I never thought of it like that!

Take care & happy reading,
Ms. C
Just hopping by and following through. I always borrow more books that I can possibly read!

Hiya, I just started following you. Please hop on over to my blog and follow me too if you don't mind. (^_^)

I can't believe you've spent thousands in library fines. At some point you should've realized it's cheaper to just buy the books yourself. :P Silly lady, I hope you don't get conned by the library and their excessive fines anymore lol! :)

Harry Potter? Sounds nice, as long as there aren't any scary types running about the place, which seems to be happening a bit too much!

I chose a "friendly" answer:

I am so embarrassed to say I've never read Harry Potter or even saw one of the movies. Here's mine:

Just swinging through on the blog hop. I enjoyed reading your answers to the #5 Things question. I had to laugh about having purchased books that you've never read. I am so guilty of that!

I hope you have a great weekend!

Apologies in advance for my answer this week as it will not immediately resonate with the book blogger population which happens to be 99.5% female.

My choice is a book series geared towards guys which won’t enthrall the vast majority of my fellow book bloggers (who are almost entirely female) with the extensive discussion of powerful weapons and sexy milspec gear, beautiful women, eye-popping action sequences (with occasionally obscene violence), and the like.

But there IS something in my answer that just about everyone of the female persuasion can benefit from my decidedly “books for guys” post. Hop on over to to find out what it is.

Happy Hop Friday!

My Hop
Hi! Hopping by for the first time. *raises a mug of Butter Beer* Cheers! :D Looking forward to reading more of your posts. I'm now a follower. :D (p.s. I enjoyed your post on the King's Speech!)

I hate to think how much I've spent on book fines. Outrageous!

Here's my post for this hop. Hope you will stop by. I always follow back.
Oh my gosh! I've spent so much in library fines as well. I know that it isn't to be proud of but I can only laugh at myself.

Harry Potter should be hearing how many folks have chosen him. :)

Hope you have a fun hop.

My answer has three choices...stop by if you like.
