Saturday Snapshot (Jan. 14)

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce @ AT Home With Books.

Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.

Took this photo this past week as the sun was lowering in the sky.  I hadn't seen the sun do this for quite a few months, as it has been grey for a large portion of that time.  The photo was taken about 3:30 pm and the sun left the wall within the half-hour.

The afternoon sun is wonderful, and it's nice to track the movements with the seasons.

The sun is so wonderful in the winter time! I'm ready for spring already. :)

Nice. The light is acting as a frame.

The late afternoon and early morning winter sun casts a nice glow. It's probably the only thing I like about taking pictures in the winter!

I like the way the sun highlights the pictures.

What a lovely collection of prints! The sun is a lovely, if brief, visitor at this time of year.

Lovely, the way the sun lays on the wall. I love it when I catch a beautiful bit of light and shadow.

Bookplease commented on the sun framing the photo collection. The arrangement is artfully arranged and added to by the louvred light. I like it.

Very nice! It's so nice to see the sun bouncing off walls, especially after a particularly cloudy period.
Great shot and it looks like a terrific place to read or relax.
