I am now over half-way through the book and am starting to understand the point of the book, which is that while Facebook does allow for people to be connected to each other, it is something that should be done in moderation and that it should not supplant face-to-face relationships. It is also a vehicle that can be abused, if not monitored properly. Very thought provoking.
