First Book of the Year 2017

I realize that this is early, but due to the fact that I don't know how long I'll be sleeping for or what condition I will be in once I do wake up, I figure I will get it out of the way now.

So for my first book of the year, I will be reading Winter Storm by Elin Hilderbrand.  I tried to read it last New Year's, but due to working late on New Year's Eve, I was bone tired when I woke up. And so no reading didn't happen that day.

First Book of the Year 2016

When I fist discovered this last year, I wasn't sure what to make of it, but I quite enjoyed it and am going to participate again this year.

Here are the books I am planning to read on January 1st:

So it looks like I will have a busy day of reading, but these should be fairly easy reads. 

Happy New Year and First book of the Year 2015

As this posts, it will be a new year out here on the west coast of BC and hence a new year of reading and new places that will be explored.

To start off the new year, I will be participating in First Book of the Year again through Shelia at BookJourney.  I participated in this last year and have been looking forward to this for the last few days.

Here are the books that will be reading at some point today:

First Book of the Year 2014

Happy New Year!  I hope everybody isn't too tired after celebrating and that you are ready to start a new year of reading and finding new books.  And even though I am still a little groggy from last night, I am ready to start a new year of reading and exploring new books.

And to start the year off, I am going to start off with Christmas Bliss; it looks like a fairly easy read and something that I can probably finish today as I watch a couple of hockey games (one this afternoon and one this evening).
